We are pleased and excited to announce our upcoming annual Dunhill Pipe Show. For all our pipe-smoking customers and for those who have considered joining the Fellowship Of The Briar, this show is the pinnacle of the year. It was around 1910 when Alfred Dunhill discovered the way to cure and season fine briar, creating a perfect smoking instrument. This process of curing was laborious and expensive and the first Dunhill Pipes were about twice the price of other pipes of the day. However, because of the excellent smoking qualities of these pipes, the Dunhill store could barely meet the demand. The Dunhill pipe has been consistently prized ever since.

ATTENTION PIPE CONNOISSEURS:
De La Concha is happy to announce an upcoming pipe show as we begin the December festivities. On Tuesday, December 2, Marzio Radice will be in store to help us host a RADICE PIPE show. It has been many years since we have been privileged to have a showing of Radice pipes. These pipes, known for their grand smoking characteristics, have been enjoyed worldwide for many years. There are a number of price points in the “air cured” Radice lines and we are sure there will be a pipe for you as you begin your holiday season. Please come join us, welcome Marzio and enjoy the offerings from Radice. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, December 2nd from 10am till 4pm.

As you know, De La Concha has traditionally had a Dunhill Pipe Show in December and this year will be no exception. There will be more on the show in a future e-mail but this message is for the true lover of Dunhill Briars.
After many years, De La Concha is proud to announce the first ever Dunhill Pipe Dinner to be held in our store. Although we have many successful cigar dinners, this is the first time we have invited pipe lovers to a special dinner featuring a vast array of Dunhill Pipes. On Dec. 9, 2008 at 8pm, just a day before the Dunhill Pipe Show, we will host a dinner that will be held in our store. Our evening will be catered by Rue 57. This 3-course meal will be a fitting feast for the evening’s festivities.
